Ashley, the CEO of Alarice International was honorably invited to deliver a speech at the Executive Group meeting which was held on 5th October. The theme of the speech was centered around the most effective ways of entering China through social media. China has one of the world’s most active social media environments. More than 300 million people have been using all different kinds of social media, including blogs, social-networking sites, microblogs and other online communities. That’s roughly equivalent to the combined population of France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom. In addition, China’s online users spend more than 40 percent of their time online on social media, and this number is only increasing. There is no doubt that social media is extremely important in the modern day Chinese market, serving as a powerful tool which allows brands to attract and interact with more customers.
Ashley also discussed some background info and business insights behind Alarice International. Although Alarice has only been established for 5 years in Hong Kong, it has received over 63 clients around the world, including international brands such as Star Cruises, SaSa, and world-scale events like Expo 2017 Astana. Through the formation of professional strategies and effective creative marketing execution on Chinese social media platforms namely Weibo and WeChat, Alarice has successfully helped a number of international brands establish a strong brand identity among the Chinese public. Aside from systematic content creation, KOLs and bloggers are also used to enhance promotions.
